External media — YouTube

We embed videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), using the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). To protect your data, no connection to YouTube/Google is established and no cookies are set until you actively click to load a video (two-click solution).

Only when you click “Load video” is the embedded player loaded and data (including your IP address) transmitted to Google; YouTube may then set cookies and transfer data to servers in the USA, safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, expressed by clicking to load the video (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TTDSG). If you do not click, no data is sent.
